It is supported by an aluminium frame and the plants are supported by geotextile fabric/biofelt that is environmental friendly and provides great aeration to plants, it has great water holding capacity too. The water tank is made up of glass and can be used as a fish aquarium aswell, the water is pumped from the water tank by a motor on the top of the biofelt which maintains the required moisture in the biofelt as the water makes its way down the fabric and recirculates.(Hydroponics is a technique that allows to grow plants without using soil as a medium instead using an inert medium and nutrient solution for achieving bountiful of growth.)
